As a sales professional, Ms. Jones managed the pre-opening and post-opening sales and marketing efforts for two hotels, negotiated National, Regional and local sales contracts, created nationally recognized marketing programs.  Her corporate trainer experience includes developing 30% and presenting 70% of four hotel brands' Franchisee Operations  Training.

Ms. Jones is  an author.  Her first book is  John & Suzie, One Woman in Four is a Suzie.  Her second book is FORWARD Solid Pathways to Achieve Your Goal.  She is the  recipient of a National Science Foundation Research Grant Invitation and cohost of several radio broadcasts.  

In 2020, Ms. Jones transitioned from teacher to life coach and founded FORWARD. 

Service                                                                                                          Ms. Jones has served as an appointee on the North Carolina Board of Commissions for Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services.

Volunteer                                                                                             

Ms. Jones volunteer services include Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Interact of Wake County, the Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy and the Wake Young Women's Leadership Academy.
